In this woodturning video I will transform some sapele hardwood into a one-of-a-kind world map lamp with the help of the Xtool S1 40W laser engraver and its rotary attachment. After careful design planning I made a cylinder from what I was able to insert in the rotary attachment to cut the world map into. Then ocean blue resin was filled into the voids and turned on the lathe. Last but not least LED strip light was added to bring he project alive.
