Description: “Use of the Great Southeast Pollinator Census to create an education garden for Citizen Science, for the purpose of adult and youth educational programs on how to establish an insect-friendly space, native plants, limited pesticide use, biological control of pests, IPPM approach to landscapes, and water conservation in the garden. Other education programs will focus on insect observation and monitoring, differentiating a pest from a beneficial insect, major pollinator groups, propagation of native plants, and water-saving landscape practices.”
