In this premiere season of Woman In Action, we start off with the story of Samantha Diaz, the 7 year-old niece of Hidilyn Diaz, along with the other kids of Jala-Jala who are training in Hidilyn's Weightlifting Academy in Rizal.

Hidilyn, who is going after her 5th Olympic run in Paris 2024, has evolved into being much more than an athlete. We take a closer look into how she is as a coach and an inspiration for the younger generation.

Here in the simple town of Jala-Jala, Hidilyn hopes to start her grassroots program in the hopes of forming more weightlifting champions.

Hidilyn Diaz, who won the gold in Tokyo 2020 for Women's Weighlifting 55kg, is the first official Philippine Olympic gold medalist in history.
