Zapraszam na pełnometrażowy film reportażowy, dokumentujący cały proces transportowania okrętu podwodnego ORP Sokół, już teraz jako ex-ORP Sokół, ze Stoczni Wojennej w Gdyni Oksywiu do miejsca swojego finalnego spoczynku, przy Muzeum Marynarki Wojennej nieopodal Plaży Miejskiej w Gdyni. Była to niesamowita i niepowtarzalna okazja zobaczyć, jak okręt podwodny typu Kobben porusza się portowymi wodami Morza Bałtyckiego, stoi na nabrzeżu koło Skweru Kościuszki, by potem ulicami i alejkami Gdyni być przewożonym na transporterze kołowym aż pod samo muzeum. Film ukazuje wszystkie te etapy złożonej operacji: odholowanie ORP Błyskawicy z jej stałego miejsca do portu wojennego; transport Sokoła na barce; "skidding", czyli przesuwanie na stały ląd; transport kołowy przez Skwer Kościuszki i Aleję Lipową, aż po ponowny "skidding" nad miejsce spoczynku i hydrauliczne opuszczanie do niecki, gdzie okręt spocznie już na zawsze. Film oprawiony jest też w lektorskie opowiadanie, zarówno na temat każdego elementu transportu, jak i o samej historii Marynarki Wojennej, podwodnego oręża, jak i również jej przyszłości: zadaje arcyważne pytanie i prowadzi rozważania co nastąpi dalej z naszym Dywizjonem Okrętów Podwodnych, w którym na służbie został jedynie ORP Orzeł? Czy w ogóle jest sens i szansa ratowania polskich okrętów podwodnych, mających długą i piękną historię? Wszystko to, jak i również niesamowite ujęcia z powietrza znajdują się w tym filmie, na który serdecznie zapraszam!

I invite you to a full-length documentary showing the entire process of transporting Polish ORP Sokol submarine from Gdynia Oksywie Shipyard to its final resting place at the Polish Navy Museum near the City Beach in Gdynia. It was a unique and amazing oportunity to witness the Kobben-class submarine moving through the port waters of the Baltic Sea, standing on the quay and then being moved on a wheeled transporter through the streets of Gdynia to the museum. The film includes all stages of that operation: towing the WWII destroyer ORP Blyskawica away to the naval port; transporting the Sokol on a barge; 'skidding', i.e. sliding the ship on the beams; road transport through Kosciuszko Square and Lipowa Avenue and lowering the ship to her final resting place. The film also contains voice-over about each element of transport, the history of the Polish Navy, as well as the Polish submarines themselves and their future - it asks an extremely important question: is there any sense or chance of saving Polish submarines and the Submarine Squadron, with its long history? All this, as well as the amazing aerial shots are featured in this film!
