Back to sources with this patch, which is a tribute to Tangerine Dream and their famous Berlin-school sequencer basslines. The idea is to have a strong rhythm with a repetitive note, but with some variations to keep it interesting. My sequence is the following:

C3 C3 C3 C4 C3 F3 G3 Bb3 C3

I connected the ASSIGN output (configured to Sequencer random in the setup mode) to MULT, and MULT1 to RESET. Consequently, the sequencer is randomly reset to the beginning of the sequence, thus repeating the C3 note and sometimes going further in the sequence.

I used the same random CV to create modulations on the filter by connecting MULT2 to VCF RES. Also, there is a second source of filter modulation by patching KB to MIX1, LFO TRI to MIX2, and VC MIX to VCF CUTOFF.

On the video, I played with both the forward and random walk modes of the sequencer. Note also the importance of the delay effect in order to obtain nice Berlin-school vibes. I used here the FX Aid module from Happy Nerdings.

One more thing: I always forgot to say that you can add accents and ratchets to have even more variations in your sequence.
