This project is adding filtration to stormwater outflows that previously carried pollution from neighborhood streets in Cocoa Beach directly into the Indian River Lagoon. Learn how the water is treated to remove harmful excess nitrogen and phosphorus pollution, thus removing a food source for algae blooms.
