Two stage extruder joint together to get enough residence time for devolatilization.
30~45% solvent will be suck out by strong vacuum system with heat exchanger and collecting tank.
We have 4 vacuum design: pre-vacumm, side force vacuum, top force vacuum, and normal top vacuum.
Under water for final pelletizing.
The final solvent content is less than 1000ppm (can be less according to the process).
The first stage extruder SAT220 twin screw extruder with diameter 220mm
The first stage extruder SAT160 twin screw extruder with diameter 160mm
The input is about 4000kg/h (including the melt polymer and solvent)
The output pellets is about 2400kg/h
