RockN2Country is dedicated to traditional country music reactions, including ratings of songs and including them in country music playlists. Most songs are traditional country songs, including bluegrass, country and western, Texas red dirt, folk songs and singers, acoustic guitar sets and rockabilly. Nashville country that is known as "bro country" is considered pop country and is not featured on this channel. Many country artists are on Nashville music labels but have a sense of traditional country music, and we react to those songs and artists as long as they are not pop country. George Strait, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert and other artists on Nashville country music labels have incredibly moving songs that traditional country music fans love, but there are so many independent artists out of places like Kentucky, Oklahoma, Canada, Ireland and elsewhere, and we react to them whether they are well known or not. Some artists have YouTube channels with very small followings, and if they have good music we will react to their songs here. Our goal is to restore traditional country music to prominence because the songwriting and storytelling, when coupled with proper instrumentation and production, is as moving as it gets. Some songs were country music hits, but many are by independent artists who are so talented that they should be heard.
