On December 9, 1965 something dropped from the winter sky and landed on the small Western Pennsylvania town of Kecksburg. Hundreds of eye witnesses saw the object drop and then less than two hours later, the military showed up and loaded the debris onto a flatbed truck and told the residents it was just a meteor. But if it was "just" a meteor, why were the military involved at all? Today, the town holds an annual festival to remember that events of December 9.
