Nicky is a consultant dietitian in intestinal failure. She looks after patients with intestinal failure, whose guts do not work properly and so they require parenteral nutrition through their veins.

Nicky also prescribes as part of her role. This means that she can prescribe most drugs within her scope of practice, in agreement with the patient and their doctor.
