Iranian missiles were confirmed to have hit Nevatim and other Israeli airbases. The missiles, identified as Iranian Fatah-2 hypersonic missiles, reportedly penetrated Israeli air defences. Iranian media claimed 30 Israeli fighter jets were destroyed, a claim Israel has denied. Satellite images show damage at the Nevatim Air Base. The base houses F-35 fighters, supplied by the United States and considered some of the most advanced aircraft in the world.
