For one night only on September 21st of 2023, Oakland-based creative arts community SMARTBOMB took over Exploratorium After Dark to share our singular approach to an art party. Drawing from our rich community of artists, SMARTBOMB paired musicians with visual artists to present three distinct sets of aural and visual interplay. In between sets, the audience experienced an offering of short films that highlight a variety of emerging Bay Area artists, and pull from the Exploratorium’s Cinema Arts film collection.
