John was taken in by Dutch as an orphan at 12-years-old. Alongside Arthur, John is one of Dutch's proudest proégés.

John was also the main character you played as in Red Dead Redemption. 12 years after the events of Red Dead Redemption II, John is forced to hunt down the remaining members of Dutch's gain to free his wife Abigail and his son Jack.
