When the Bubble Bus started, it got off to a rocky start due to COVID-19.

The couple started their own Small Business, Bubble Bus Co., a mobile tap bar that serves beer, wine, and popsicles from the back of a fully restored, gold 1978 Volkswagen bus.

➡️ They planned to work large events around town like weddings and birthdays, but COVID-19 happened. Instead of going out of business, they completely change their model. But the couple preserved and did something truly selfless...

Clay and Lina decided that they wanted to use Bubble Bus Co. to raise the spirits of their neighbors in Sunset Heights, right outside of Ft. Worth, Texas. So, they bought three kegs of beer and gave it away to their neighbors.

This was a huge hit and drew lots of attention across social media. Clay and Lina made enough money in tips to spur a Pay-it-Forward initiative. Each stop funded the next Bubble Bus trip to another neighborhood around town, all while giving out free beer, wine, and popsicles.

➡️ Word caught on quickly about Bubble Bus Co.’s mobile happy hours during lockdown. They decided to use contests on Facebook and Instagram to pick the next routes to visit. Neighborhoods with the most comments and shares won a night of free drinks, which was a refreshing treat that broke up the monotony of lockdown.

It was amazing to witness residents in these communities coming together, all because of the Bubble Bus and a spirit of generosity. To capture this story was an honor for me and the least I could do.

What they are doing and the way they are helping people feel connected in the middle in a pandemic is amazing. I hope you are inspired by what they are doing, because it inspired me to create this video so they can look back on all the good they did for communities in Texas.
