Statistics from 2024 show that more than 1 in 7 UK adults say their mental health is currently either bad, or the worst it’s ever been. Young people, aged 16-24 are the most affected by mental health struggles, with nearly a quarter describing their mental health as either bad or the worst it’s ever been.

During the last few years, we’ve seen someone very close to us utterly destroyed by mental health issues, almost to the point of death. The enemy has dismantled their self-image, self-esteem, self-belief. Their hope and purpose. Their mental and physical health. Their faith in God.

But we know that God is close to the broken hearted. (Psalm 34:18)

I See You, released autumn 2024, is a love song. From God to them. It was written for no other purpose than to encourage that person, to speak words of hope and healing over their life. But maybe there are others that need to hear those words too. Maybe you.
