How to Hear God Without Being Duped by a Fraud

There are some Christians who think that hearing God when you pray means hearing a voice, an audible voice inside your head or inside your mind. They think it's like something whispering into their ears. You have to be very careful about that because Satan and the demons and even modern technology can do this sort of thing all the time. So someone could easily deceive you by speaking into your ears or into your mind, into your head. In order not to be deceived, you have to learn to hear the Holy Spirit in the very bottom of your heart. You have to be able to perceive the difference between right and wrong in your conscience. Are you connected to the Living God because you've received His Holy Spirit and you're listening only to Him? Or are you like those Christians who will be deceived when they hear a voice in their head, in their ear, their physical ear, thinking that that must be God speaking to them? Be very careful that you're not listening to the false advice of evil spirits and that you really are being guided by your Creator. He will bypass your physical ears to speak into the ears of your conscience. He knows how to lead you, but you need to make sure that you truly are being guided by Him and not these other spirits in the world, whether it be a demon, a person, or some sort of technology.
