But advertisements often pop up and you can see interesting things that you can do yourself. The Chinese always come up with something interesting that you immediately want to have for yourself.
This time I came across a terry hat with elastic bands with rabbit ears. It costs about 300 rubles, but it’s not about the price.
This cap is perfect after a bath, sauna or bath, especially for those with long hair. Thanks to the elastic bands, the cap stretches and contains all the wet hair.
I will sew the same hat:
1) For work, I cut a piece of towel 85x27 cm. At first I thought that the length was too long, but during the sewing process it turned out to be just what I needed.
2) One long edge was serged and turned 1.5 cm.
3) I took thin elastic bands 2 mm wide. I measured the length on my head so that the elastic would not squeeze my head.
4) I drew stripes on the fabric to fit 6 elastic bands.
5) I marked the middle of each elastic band and did the same on the towel.
6) In order for the elastic to be attached evenly, you need to align the marks on the elastic and the towel.
7) I stitched the elastic bands with a zigzag, creating soft folds.
8) Where I first turned up the edge, inserted an elastic band, the compressed fabric is ready.
9) I stitched the side seam, catching all the ends of the elastic bands, and overcast the edge.
10) I sewed a stitch on the top of the hat and gathered it together.
11) I cut the ears. The length can be made longer or shorter, using terry cloth and a waffle towel. I made folds into the inside of the ear.
12) I put the ears in the hat, stitched the edges at the corners, slightly rounding them. I swept the cut.
13) I sewed black buttons instead of eyes and nose.
14) The hat turned out to be soft and fluffy. The ears can be folded back or forward.
