Maa Tara happens to be another form of Hindu Goddess Maa Kali. The temple & the Goddess Maa Tara represent the source of Shakti - power.

Considered as one of the most revered Hindu shrines it is indeed a super religious place located beside a burning ghat.

Maintained well - devotees are managed in quite an orderly fashion. Crowd soars on Tuesdays & Saturdays - but rest of the five days in the week are generally much less.
