types of colour

1- permanent colour : it contain ammonia which swell cuticle layer of hair and tiny molecule of hair colour penetrate in cortex layer.

2- semi permanent colour : these hair colours formulated to stay through several shampoos depending onbthe hairs porosity. the pigment molecules are small enough to patially panetrate the hair shaft and stain the cuticle layer.

3- demi permanent colour : this is hair colour contains an alkaline agent other than ammonia . there is essentially no lifting of natural hair colour they are gentle on hair and therefore safer especially for damaged hair and they wash out over time .

4- temporary colour : the pigment in tepmrory colour are large and therefore do not penertate tje cuticle layer. temporary hair colour is typically brighter and more vibrant than semi permanent and permanent colour.
