This is how I align my vehicles toe angle at no cost. I doubt that it is as accurate as a machine, but I haven't noticed any excessive tire wear using this method.

All you need is four stands, kite string, a tape measure and tools, wrenches in my case, to adjust the tie rod.

Once I perform a road test and make necessary fine-tune adjustments, my car tracks straight with a centered steering wheel.
