The weather really closed in from about 3:30pm onwards, and it was bloody cold and windy by the time we decided we'd had enough. There was a few brave souls still doing laps up and down, but after 5pm it dropped right off.

The rest of the Bank Holiday was a wash out, there was no chance of filming much other than ducks. Steve from Biker Pics Ltd braved the Sunday morning for the Northwest ride out, but even he gave up not long after lunch, and he didn't even bother on the Monday.

Favourites?

Bike wise, I couldn't decide between the meanest Ducati Panigale V2 I've ever seen, or the Gen 2 Aprilia Tuono with the thunderous big bore carbon exhausts, so they both win a chocolate medal.

Car wise, it's was slim pickings, the green M3 got the nod in the 12 to 3 video, there was a slammed BMW 5 series, but no, and a rather rapid Golf R, but we see half a dozen of them every day. In the end a rather fetching Audi RS4 Avant saved the day, same 8200rpm V8 engine as the R8 remember, just with a wet sump. Getting rare now, and red ones seem to be fetching a little premium.
