Hello and Welcome to my Channel and thank you for watching.

As most of my Subscribers know, last year has been an extremely difficult time for me. As much as I've tried to get out and camp and hike, I've not done it anywhere near as much as I would have liked, only a handful of times.

The overwhelming grief I've felt over the last twelve months has put me in such a dark, unenthusiastic, depressing place, that any plans I did make, would almost always end up with me unpacking my bag and not going and instead just staying home and not engaging with anyone.

However, the few trips I did make, although at times extremely challenging, both mentally as well as physically, are proof that once i get out the door and on my way, things usually work out. I feel I'm now seeing some light at the end of what has been a very, very long dark tunnel.

This short video is by no means a great video or anywhere near one of my better one's but for me personally it's a very important one, because no matter how much of a cliché it is, nature really does have the power to heal and allows you to make some sense of of your thoughts and feelings that you are experiencing.

So I'm hoping that this is now a new start and getting out and about again. My grief will always be there but the hope is that the more I can get out into nature, the more I can deal with the emotions and feelings that grief brings. Hopefully I will shed some of the unwanted weight I've put on over the last year too.

Again, thanks for watching. Please, if you like the content I put out, don't forget to give the video a like and also press the little bell and you will be notified of all future videos. I have some great plans and I'm determined to see them through.
