A man holding a knife attacked a bus used by a Japanese school in the eastern Chinese city of Suzhou on Monday (June 24), seriously wounding a Chinese woman and injuring a Japanese woman and her child.
The two Japanese victims' wounds are not life-threatening, while the critically injured Chinese citizen is still undergoing treatment.
Chinese foreign ministry says that it was an isolated incident.
