The High Mountain Agribusiness and Livelihood Improvement Project (HIMALI) has developed groundbreaking ways to initiate and establish agribusiness in the high mountainous areas of Nepal. Commercialization of agriculture and the emergence of agribusiness enterprises in the mountainous regions require a fundamental in the practice of doing business. The project is successfully in creating and developing micro, small and medium enterprises. HIMALI provides access to a diversified set of financial services for investment (grants, loans, insurance, equity), technology, and institutional mechanism, in order to promote micro, small and medium agribusiness enterprises and to reduce high risk that agribusinesses face in general.
