This build is obviously very strong, but you have to be aware that you will not have "rejuicer" ads, your ignition from Caliban will destroy every living soul with a bum health pool, including cursed thralls (no bueno). There are many other viable options you could replace Spirit of Caliban with: Assassin, Galanor, Inmost Light, anything tbh. Caliban serves as a nice additional source of ad clear alongside the burst on frozen targets from winter's shroud w/ Facet of Ruin, but it is sometimes difficult to keep Combination Blow x3 up when everything dies from one melee

Liars really thrives when using Strand/Stasis/Void supers, the Woven mail/frost armor/void overshield gained from orbs (facet of purpose) participate heavily to melee damage, thanks to Shieldcrush in the artifact. Woven mail has the best damage reduction I believe (correct me if I'm wrong), and you get its full DR instantly off of 1 orb. Frost armor stacks up to 5x but has a longer duration (10s vs 5s i think), and void overshield is just an extra health bar that does not feel particularly strong. Frost Armor & Woven Mail feel pretty in line in terms of DR. In this case, Silence and Squall was BEST IN SLOT to get the boss staggered (plus it is on a decently shorter cooldown than strand super, which btw feels fkn terrible as a super)

One-two punch shotty is self explanatory, Without Remorse felt nice, probably in part due to solar surge & x2 solar weapon surge mods. Enhanced Field Prep is nice, it grants reserves equivalent to two armor reserve mods, so no need for ammo finders. If I had a shotty with 1-2 punch and graverobber I would use that, but I make do with what I got, Kapische?

For heavy, Dragon's Breath just felt like it was super consistent and I could whip it out whenever there was an opening for it. It cranks hella with 2 weapon surge mods along w/ being radiant. The whole gameplay loop is focused on melee but that last fourth of the boss' health bar is too damn dangerous to go into melee range because of the cursed thralls. also The Call felt decent for some dammy but my main reason for using it was to nuke the shriekers.

idk if anyone read all that but I had to lay it all out on the line for my fellow gamers. also do not attempt to solo this gm nightfall on melee hunter, you will experience quantum ego death
