This is an alternative way of making drawstring holes without the use of eyelets or the button hole method.

Short story:
I was sewing a pants and wanted a drawstring waist band but unfortunately the eyelets I had available at the time were too small for the width of the string I was going for, so I thought of trying something different! and this is the result of it. I hope you find it helpful.
