During a recent trip to my hometown, I took a leisurely drive along some of Columbia County's back roads to the little village of Elk Grove. Autumn had just arrived a week earlier, the leaves were beginning to show their fall colors. It was a mostly cloudy day with light rain. It was a wonderful day for spending time with family and taking photos. This is in part why rural Pennsylvania will always be home to me. Sit back, relax, turn your volume up and set your troubles aside for the next three minutes. This is 'my America.'
