In this episode, we set out to do our own DIY restoration of the car trailer we've borrowed many times from my father-in-law as our way of saying thanks to him! The trailer has seen thousands of miles in its 22 years, and we want it to last at least 22 more! We removed the old warped and broken wood planks, sanded down the scaley rusted frame, treated it with a rust encapsulator, painted it with a new coat of single-stage gloss black, and then finally reinstalled new treated wood planks. As a bonus, we had custom-made decals made to mimic exactly what it looked like when new. Take care of your trailer and it'll take care of you!
