We announce the passing of our beloved father Frank Cummings Cook - Engelsfeder mit Herz Trauerreden

It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father Frank Cummings Cook the Third on Good Friday, March twenty-ninth, two thousand twenty-four at the age of eighty-four. He left the world peacefully to join our mother, Kaye who transitioned into the light on April eighth, two thousand thirteen, and our brother Frank on August nineteenth, two thousand nine. Frank Cummings Cook the Third was born on December twenty-second, nineteen thirty-nine in Washington, District of Columbia, the son of Elizabeth Rose Pierce and Frank Cummings Cook Junior. He attended Bethesda Chevy Chase High School and after graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Business Science in nineteen sixty-three. He accepted the Navy Officer Training School after joining the Navy where he spent most of his career and retired in nineteen eighty-nine as a Commander United States Navy. Besides his unwavering support and care for his family, he had many deep passions including following and trading stocks on the New York Stock Exchange, watching and playing sports (including baseball/softball, basketball, tennis, bowling, and football). He also had a passion for travel which grew as his Naval career took him to many destinations around the world including Japan, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, China, and many places in the United States of America. Frank Cummings Cook the Third is survived by his son Ken and daughter Cami (husband Scott), grandchildren Kelly, Kenny, Bryan, Steven, Colby and T.S. And, he is also survived by his brothers Richard (wife Pam) and David. There will be a celebration of life ceremony on Saturday, April thirteenth at eleven ante meridiem at All Saints Episcopal Church, three Chevy Chase Circle, Chevy Chase, Maryland two zero eight one five followed by a reception in the church fellowship hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
