A 19-year-old, identified as Ekyothung Tsanglao from Seithekema village, drowned in a man-made fishery pond around noon. NLTV's ground report revealed that Tsanglao went to bathe in the pond but failed to return. A search operation was conducted by the Nagaland SDRF Dimapur unit and local residents, but due to inadequate equipment and time constraints, the body was not recovered. The SDRF in-charge stated that search efforts will resume tomorrow.
