The Peruvian Ministry of Defense has again ordered two C-27J Spartan tactical transport aircraft from the Italian manufacturer Leonardo.

Previously, Peru had ordered the first two Spartan aircraft in December 2013 and two more in 2015.

Peruvian Air Force C-27J Spartans operated by the 8th Air Group in Callao. The operation of this aircraft receives logistical and technical support from the Leonardo manufacturer.

Based on the plan, the Peruvian Air Force will operate 12 C-27J Spartan aircraft.
