Using stock missiles on non-stationary targets in KSP is usually an unsatisfying time filled with many misses. Luckily, a slow falling "weather balloon" just barely classifies as a moving target, perfect for such weapons. While these missiles do not usually score a hit on their first pass, they can fly around in an ever-tightening loop and eventually home in on their target (most of the time).

Might have to revisit this at a later point, I threw this plane and the missiles together in about an hour and it just sort of worked. Figured I’d show it off for y’all :)
