I’ve been wanting to make the shard of hate from Diablo three for a while now. And with Diablo four coming out, I thought the timing was just right. 10 mm EVA foam was used for the base of the blade and handle. Tinfoil for the base of the skull construction. I used EVA foam clay for all of the organic sculpting on the sword. For the inspiration of the sculpture, was the concept art and in game references for the colors. I hope you enjoyed my interpretation of the shard of hate from Diablo 3.
