RJ is poetry performer born and raised in kayole, Nairobi Kenya. She began poetry in 2019 till date .She is also a public relation officer and a professional nurse Aid who believes in being authentic and real to her work; poetry to her is therapy.

Rj has been working with the community as a member of a youth group called Wahenga which reclaims public spaces using poetry with art being their source of strength.

She has done a collaboration with different artists under a project Sauti Jasiri and Sauti ya katiba under PAWA 254. She also organises charity events and has had the opportunity to perform at different stages such as; the Nairobi street parade among others.
