Even the Imperial Japanese Armed Forces out to conquer the Pacific Ocean gave up setting up a colonial base in the Walung village near the Yela Ka forest. A custom to hunt and eat turtle still remains in the village. Turtles commonly have been a subject of worship since the past, but they're just game to hunt in this region. All they need for hunting is a diving mask, flippers, and a spear. We're looking close at the lives of people who hunt turtles in clear seawater and share the meat of it after cooking it on rocks.
