The 1979 album Mystic Man by the legendary Peter Tosh. Peter Tosh's 1979 album Mystic Man features all tracks composed by Peter Tosh himself, with backing vocals from Brenda White, Gwen Guthrie, The Tamlins, and Yvonne Lewis. The album's sound is driven by the bass and guitar work of Robbie Shakespeare, and the drums and percussion of Sly Dunbar, with Mikey Chung on keyboards, guitar, and percussion, and Uziah "Sticky" Thompson on percussion.

The Mystic Man album also features horns arranged by Clive "Azul" Hunt and Mikey Chung, and a range of additional musicians including Ed Walsh on synthesizer, Keith Sterling on acoustic piano, and Ed Elizalde on lead guitar. Mystic Man features classic Peter Tosh tracks such as "Mystic Man", "The Day the Dollar Die", and "Rumours of War".
