I got this beat up Craftsman T1600 as a trade in from a customer who was buying my 1998 MTD tractor. The previous owner said it just died on them while mowing. It turned out to be a broken blade safety switch. After bypassing the switch it was mostly smooth sailing from there! This mower turned out to be a great example of a max profit "flip".
