Join us to hear the story of the Jethro Coffin House (The Oldest House) on Nantucket built as a wedding gift in 1686 for Jethro Coffin (1663–1727) and Mary Gardner (1670–1767). Sitting upon Sunset Hill, the house represents the unity of Nantucket Island's oldest families, the Coffins and the Gardners. Learn more about these families and the others who lived there until the time it was sold to the Nantucket Historic Association in the 1920s.
