CHILKOOT LAKE

Paddling the cold waters of the Chilkoot Lake with its stunning waterfalls, eating cloud berries and watching the salmon count!

Day 2 Alaska Road Trip - Haines
Our first Independence Day in the US, watching the cool little parade along Haines Main Street and then listening to country music at the night concert!

ROAD BACK TO THE YUKON
Day 3 Alaska Road Trip - Haines to Kluane Lake
Incredible views on our way back into the Yukon!
And a beautiful huge grizzly having a snack and the side road pink with so many flowers!

SULPHUR LAKE

Camping at Sulphur Lake was full of surprises: we spotted a big moose taking a dip in the lake then a huuuge black bear came to say hello, we turned around and there it was eating grass a few metres from us!

KLUANE LAKE

SHEEP CREEK TRAIL

A fantastic hike up Sheep Mountain, with beautiful views of Slim’s River Valley (A’ay Chu), the Kaskawulsh Glacier and all the surrounding mountains!

BACK IN ALASKA
Day 5 Alaska Road Trip - Alaska Alcan Border
We are back in Alaska!
We cross the border and then spend some great time paddling at Hidden Lake and Deadman Lake in the Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge

ROAD TO VALDEZ
Day 6 Alaska Road Trip - Glennallen to Valdez
Another stunning drive up to Thompson Pass and through Keystone Canyon, surrounded by mountains, glaciers and waterfalls!
