#IAmRemarkable is delighted to be hosting this conversation with the pioneering actor and trans advocate, Ash Palmisciano.

Ash is a groundbreaking English actor who is redefining representation on stage and screen. Born in Leamington Spa in 1990, Ash's personal journey with gender identity has fueled his passion for LGBTQ+ advocacy and authentic storytelling.

Ash made history as the first transgender actor to grace the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company stage, paving the way for greater diversity in classical theatre. He went on to play the first transgender character in a major UK soap, a role which he has held since 2018.

A vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion, Ash uses his platform to amplify the importance of diverse narratives and challenge stereotypes.

#IAmRemarkable is a global movement that empowers everyone, including underrepresented groups, to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond, while challenging the social perception around self-promotion.
At the heart of our movement is a 90 minute workshop open to everyone, hosted by trained facilitators worldwide.
#IAmRemarkable started at Google in 2016 and has seen continued scale and impact principally because of the strength of its community. As of March 2024, 600,000+ people have participated in #IAmRemarkable workshops, across 180 countries. This has been made possible by more than 6,000 volunteer facilitators who are passionate and committed to helping others celebrate their achievements.
Anna Vainer has led the #IAmRemarkable movement since its creation at Google and is now the President of the Board of Rmrkblty, an independent non profit.
