Hello! I wrote this spoken word poem in my senior year, right before the pandemic was about to occur. I was originally supposed to perform this for an annual fashion talent show (FTS) themed, “Light the Way.”
With covid on the loose, I don’t know when I’ll ever be able to perform this poem in person. But I think it can be relevant to whatever timeline we are in in life. Here’s my video performance, after writing it one year ago. All nature clips are taken by me. Please enjoy 💖
