Elements of North Carolina and Oklahoma National Guards, assisted by 101st Airborne from Fort Campbell, KY help in providing hurricane relief to victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. This effort is being orchestrated and organized by retired Special Forces operatives. Guard and active duty military are taking direction from the volunteer civilian operation.
