A well prepared excursion of the total of 17 trekkers from Menchhyayem Rural Municipality and Myanglung Municipality started the journey early morning on 28-04-2077 BS. It's an adventerous jungle journey of full 6 days. Although it takes 3 days from Sabha Pokhari, Sankhuwasabha to reach the Arun Glacier (Sabha Pokhari) with normal walk, we made it in only two days.

The journey is not the easy one. We have to take all the food, tends, sleeping bags, first aid etc. because there is no human inhabitants from Jor Pokhari, Sankhuwasabha, near Gupha Pokhari. People, especially from hindu community go there as pilgrims on the occasion of Janai Purnima (a sacred thread ceremoney) once in a year in July and August because it's next to impossible to go there in winter season.

On the way to the Arun Glacier, one has to go beyond 4500m. altitude. A very difficult place on the way, called Selele, a very slope hill to climb is one of the most difficult ways to reach the place. Some other ways to the place are very dangerous that many people have died because of acrophobia and high altitude in the past.

The entire area where the place is situated is TMJ (Tinjure Milke Jaljale) area. Thus out of 32 species of Rhododendron in Nepal, 28 of them are available in this area. Not only that, many types of herbs like Yarsagumbha, Panch Aule, Satuwa, Chiraito, Padam Chamala, Kudki etc. can be found in this area. The most endangered animal, red pandas are also found in this area.
