Moths are integral parts of terrestrial ecosystems. They are nocturnal pollinators, and part of local foodwebs. Some moths can also cause problems as agricultural pests.

The MothEd project is focused on giving kids the tools to ask their own ecological questions about the ecosystems around them, using moths are the focal taxonomic group.
