Enhypen (Korean: 엔하이픈; Romaja: Enhaipeun; Japanese: エンハイプン; Enhaipun), often stylized as ENHYPEN, is a South Korean boy band formed by Belift Lab, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Hybe Corporation.[3] Formed through the survival program I-Land in 2020, the group includes 7 members Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki.
The group's name, Enhypen, was introduced through the live broadcast of the final episode of I-Land. According to the origin, Enhypen is derived from its name Hyphen (-), which creates new meanings including "Connection, Discovery & Growth". [4] Similar to how hyphens connect different words to form new meanings, Enhypen aims to "connect, explore each other, and grow together.
