Here's another one from The Cure. "In Between Days" from their 1985 album "The Head On The Door". This is a simple bass line and great for beginners. The verse is A to D and the chorus is B to E. Add in some transition notes and just a hint of chorus, and you've got another cool bass line by Simon Gallup.
