Quilts come in every shape and style, for every personality and taste, don’t they?

This quilt is panel-based and quite contemporary in feel, so I think it needs a quilting departure from freehand feathers and swirls.

So Connie (the maker) and I decided to quilt it with parallel evenly spaced lines.

I’m quilting the entire project while you watch, not so much in a lesson format, as a running commentary while I work.
