Quick start video for the new Yaesu FTM-500DR radios in the EOCs and the MARC. This video covers all the controls and primary functions and provides essential operating advice.

Important note: this video was developed for our local Yavapai County ARES/RACES group. Some of the comments are specific to our group. Many settings, particularly the microphone function buttons, are customized and have nothing in common with the default Yaesu settings.

Errata:
At 17:36 there is text overlay that states the number of channels you can monitor is 6, not 5. I had it right the first time when I said 5. Please ignore this message - the correct number of channels you can monitor with PMG is indeed 5. YouTube does not allow you to update a video (you have to add a new one) so I have not removed this comment from the video.
