I enrolled into a Japanese language school in Japan and purchased a futon as my bed. As someone who has always slept on a mattress or the couch, I had no idea that this can happen to a brand new futon in as little as 3 weeks. Let this be a warning to anyone who will be living in Japan and will be sleeping on a futon.
