Jungle Tent, Kolkata is a nice weekend destination near Kolkata. This video will take you to this unbelievably cool yet exciting one day tour place near Kolkata just 30 minutes drive away from Science City. Jungle Tent Nature Camp, Sonarpur gives tent accommodation for day out visit and night stay. There are 11 tents in all of different category viz. Executuve, deluxe, standard, safari etc. All are AC tents except 2. The tents vary in sizes and they can accommodate 2 to 6 people. There is one non AC camping tent for a group of people visiting for day out trip. If one thinks what to see in West Bengal or what to see near Kolkata or where to see go on weekend Near Kolkata, Jungle tent is a perfect getaway. It is an exciting picnic spot as well.
We booked one safari tent for day visit. The tent is quite spacious. There is one king- sized bed, attached bath, very neat and clean, wardrobe and coffee kit.
There are sports and activities like, rope climbing, rope balancing, rope bridge, commando net climbing, boating, dangling rope bridge, hammock, trampoline.
Boat riding and water zorbing are paid activities.
The entire property is set up on 12 bighas of land.

For buffet (minimum 20 people) food cost per head is Rs. 1240/- +GST.
Tent is optional (Non-AC camp tent + adjacent washroom Rs. 2000/- ) for a group of people.
AC tent is also available for day out package upto 5 heads.
Bar-B- Q and camp fire can also be arranged.

Chargeable activity: -
Boating is Rs. 200 for 4 pax for 30 minutes. Water zorbing is Rs. 150 per pax for 2 people.

How to reach Jungle Tent :

From E M Bypass: ( going from Ajoynagar or Ruby General Hospital)
Turn right after URBANA complex, take Nazirabad Road, then Tardah Kheyada road, Harapur, Samukpota, Jungle Tent Resort. From Roby it is 14 km. and Ajoynagar 16 km. and from Science City 20 km.

From Science City:
Take Basanti Highway, turn right on to Sonarpur Bantala Road from Jalpath crossing, After crossing Tardah auto stand take Tardah Kheyada Road and then Harapur, Samukpota, Jungle Tent.

From Sealdah:
From Sealdah come to Sonarpur station and then take a reserved auto or car rental- then take Sonarpur Bantala Road – after 7 km. turn right onto Tardah Kheyada Road at Tardah auto stand- drive towards Harapur- Samukpota- Jungle Tent.

From Howrah:
From Howrah station take T12 bus going to Bantola through Science city- then from Jalpath crossing take reserved auto towards Tardaha through Tardah kheyala Road then Harapur and then Samukpota and finally Jungle Tent.
